Methodology
How GetBestify builds its reports
GetBestify is a competitive intelligence platform. The figures, frameworks, and case studies you see across the site come from observed public storefront data, processed through a consistent pipeline. This page documents how that pipeline works so you can evaluate the numbers fairly.
Data sources
Every report is built from publicly accessible signals. We crawl the live storefront — product pages, collection trees, sitemaps, rendered HTML — and enrich it with detected analytics platforms, advertising pixels, and installed third-party apps.
We do not use private dashboards, leaked credentials, or any data that is not available to a normal visitor of the site.
Sampling and refresh cadence
Each report shows a "last refreshed" timestamp at the top of the page. We re-crawl tracked storefronts periodically as their catalog, pricing, and ad mix evolve, so benchmarks reflect the current state rather than stale snapshots.
Quantitative figures (SKU counts, price band distributions, in-stock rates) reflect the most recent crawl unless otherwise noted.
Anonymization and named cases
Marketing examples on the homepage and category pages — phrased as "a category leader" or "a leading site" — are based on real, observed storefronts but are anonymized for confidentiality.
Inside a purchased report, the analyzed brand is named explicitly. Third-party brand names that appear elsewhere on the site (e.g. integrated apps, ad platforms) are the property of their respective owners and are referenced for descriptive purposes only.
